In August, Australia’s fastest charging electric car, the Zeekr 7X, was launched in Australia after receiving over 1,000 pre-orders in the first week of its launch.
Now, at an event in Sydney, the brand has began mass deliveries of its 7X SUV as the number of orders officially received reaches more than 2,500.
More than 100 families across Australia received their Zeekr 7X on the first day of Australian deliveries of the highly anticipated model, exactly after a year of the brand being launched in our market.

This marks a key milestone for Zeekr in Australia after launching the X electric SUV and a luxury people mover over the last 12 months.
In just one year, we’ve built a community of early adopters who share our vision to imagine beyond, and this milestone celebrates that journey,” said Frank Li, Vice President, Zeekr International and Managing Director, Zeekr Australia said:
The brand also revealed some key trends around the 7X customers, highlighting that 74% of Zeekr 7X order holders are buying an EV for the first time.
On top of that 70% are transitioning from an ICE vehicle, with many previously driving luxury cars from legacy European brands.
Zeekr has also grown its dealership base to now have 12 dealers nationally, further increasing the brand’s local footprint.

In Australia, three variants of the 7X are offered with pricing (before on-roads) starting at $57,900. The Long Range RWD variant bumps that up to $63,900 while the top-spec Performance AWD comes in at $72,900.
The base RWD variant features Zeekr’s 75 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack, which allows for charging speeds of up to 450 kW, thanks to the 800 V architecture the model sits on.
This battery pack delivers a WLTP range of up to 480 km on a single charge.
All variants also include 22 kW AC charging, making the 7X in its RWD variant, one of the few cars under $60,000 that offer 22 kW on-board charger.

Following that in the lineup is the Long Range RWD variant which bumps that range figure to 615 km. This variant comes with a 100 kWh Nickel-Manganese-Cobalt (NMC) long range battery.
The top-spec Performance AWD variant features acceleration of 0-100 km/h taking just 3.8 seconds. This variant also uses the 100 kWh battery as the Long Range RWD and delivered a range of up to 543 km.
The batteries on the 7X also deliver vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability with 3.3 kW output, making it convenient to power other electrical devices.
That’s ideal for camping with the car and given its 2-tonne towing capacity, it’d be a feature many new and upcoming owners would appreciate.

We look forward to test-driving the car on local roads in the coming weeks to see what it’s really like. In the meantime, owners would be some of the first to experience this latest model. So, if you’ve received your Zeekr 7X, let The Driven team know what it’s really like.
