The partnership with Blink means that Paua users gain access to about 850 new public charging locations plus approx. 3,500 EV charging conntectors. Under the deal, Blink’s chargers will be visible to Paua users via the Paua Access app. Drivers can check connector types, real-time availability, and pricing without the need for additional cards, apps, or contracts. As well as offering charging to drivers, Paua comes with a host of fleet management tools via an integrated dashboard. It’s via this system that fleet managers are able to oversee access and usage of charge points – from both Blink Charging and others.
It’s the latest in a series of new partnerships between Paua and other charge point operators. Last month, Paua announced a new integration with E.on Drive Infrastruture (EDRI); before that, similar cooperations with Milence and First Bus. However, while some of the other partnerships have been cross-border, it appears the agreement with Blink Charging is UK only.
Alex Calnan, MD of Europe at Blink Charging, commented: “This collaboration enhances support for fleets, businesses, and individual drivers through the next phase of the energy transition, further redefining the possibilities of EV infrastructure. Together, we’re empowering the UK’s shift to electric transport by equipping businesses with the tools they need to succeed: clean energy, high-performance charging stations, and easy access through trusted platforms.”
