The Zeekr 7GT boasts an impressive family tree: it is the European counterpart to the electric estate 007GT, which Geely’s subsidiary Zeekr unveiled in China last spring. Both models are close relatives of the 007 sedan, launched in 2023. Although the 007 is not available in Europe, it shares its technology with the 7X, which is already imported to Europe. The common foundation is the PMA2+ platform from Geely and Volvo, the same platform that now underpins the Zeekr 7GT, presented at the motor show in Brussels. Configurators in several European markets are now open following the model’s premiere, with deliveries set to begin in July.
The 7GT marks Zeekr’s entry into the European battery-electric estate market. To date, the Geely premium brand has launched three models in Europe: the Zeekr 001 shooting brake, the compact crossover SUV Zeekr X, and the mid-size SUV Zeekr 7X (also available as a GT variant). The company is positioning its new electric estate with a starting price of €45,990, though prices vary by country. In the Netherlands, customers will pay the above-mentioned price for the entry-level ‘Business Edition’. In Germany, the starting price is €47,990, with some European markets charging even more. Meanwhile, in Sweden, the launch price of 494,000 SEK equates to about 46,078 euros, while Norwegian customers pay 364,221 NOK(30,961€). Danish customers are faced with a 454,900 DKK price, which translates to 60,875€.
These country-specific base prices apply to the Core model with rear-wheel drive. Additional variants include the 7GT Long Range RWD (from €50,990) and the Privilege AWD Launch Edition (from €57,490, both prices for Germany).
Chinese technology, European design
Zeekr is keen to position the 7GT as a thoroughly European car. The company does not mention in its presentation that the model is a derivative of the Chinese 007GT or the 007. Instead, Zeekr emphasises that the 7GT was “designed in Europe and tuned specifically for European roads.” According to Zeekr, the European influence is particularly evident in the vehicle’s aesthetics and chassis, not least thanks to its connection with Volvo.
Geely’s modular approach is evident in the 7GT’s technology: like the 7X (and the underlying Chinese models), the 7GT features an 800-volt architecture and two familiar battery options (a 75 kWh LFP battery and a 100 kWh NMC battery). Customers can choose from three powertrain options: 310 kW for the two rear-wheel-drive variants and 475 kW for the all-wheel-drive version. The two rear-wheel-drive models differ in battery size but share the same acceleration capability (0 to 100 kph in 5.3 seconds). The dual-motor model is only available with the larger battery and achieves 0 to 100 kph in 3.3 seconds, according to the specifications. Zeekr claims a WLTP range of up to 655 kilometres for the longest-range variant, which features a rear motor and the larger battery. The all-wheel-drive model’s top speed is listed as 210 kph.
Charging takes only 13 or 16 Minutes
The estate measures 4.82 x 2.07 x 1.46 metres with a wheelbase of 2.9 metres (matching that of the 7X), offers five seats, and provides a boot volume of 456 litres. The car’s 800-volt architecture is designed to minimise charging stops: as with the 7X, Zeekr specifies a DC charging capacity of up to 480 kW for the electric estate. The charging times are also impressive: on paper, the 75 kWh LFP battery charges from 10 to 80 per cent in 13 minutes at a sufficiently powerful charging station, while the 100 kWh NMC battery takes 16 minutes. The model also supports 22 kW AC charging.
According to Zeekr, the chassis is designed for precise steering, “razor-sharp” response times, and a dynamic driving experience. It can be adjusted using five driving modes. Safety features include a reinforced body, seven airbags, and a range of driver assistance systems. These, along with all other functions, can be controlled via a digital cockpit, centred around a 13-inch instrument display and a 15-inch touchscreen.

The mid-range version adds features such as a head-up display and a premium sound system. The top-spec all-wheel-drive version includes 20-inch wheels, air suspension with electronically controlled dampers, ventilated front seats, and a massage function. Additionally, the 7GT supports one-pedal driving and external device charging (V2L function).
