Yespark operates the platforms yespark.fr and, more recently, zenpark.com. With the acquisition of Zenpark, Yespark now offers over 10,000 parking spaces at 6,000 locations in over 700 cities in France, Belgium and Italy. However, not all of the 10,000 parking spaces have a charging point; currently, only one in ten does. The press release does not mention whether these include fast chargers, but the press photo shows an AC wallbox.
The company has already converted all 1,000 existing charging points to Spirii Connect, Spirii’s charging point management system. Spirii Connect offers real-time monitoring, smart charging and energy management functions, “ensuring efficient and reliable operation at scale,” according to Spirii.
According to its own information, Yespark “meets all parking needs for drivers, from short-term to long-term parking, while also providing optimisation and digitalisation solutions for parking owners.” Customers can use the app to book a parking space and also a charging station.
“Migrating a charging network of our scale, while preparing it for future growth, is a complex undertaking that depends on trust. Together with Spirii, we established a solid process that ensured uninterrupted operations and no impact on our customers,” said Charles Pfister, Co-CEO and co-founder of Yespark. “We now have a robust infrastructure in place that supports the scalability and innovation needed to drive our continued expansion across Europe.”
Tore Harritshøj, CEO and co-founder of Spirii, added: “Our collaboration with Yespark highlights the strong synergies that emerge when industry leaders join forces. By combining our platforms, expertise and reach, we are positioned to offer the best user-centric charging experience across Europe, while ensuring high utilisation for our partner network.”
