The world’s no. 1 home energy and electric vehicle show, Everything Electric, returns to Sydney this weekend, with more than 30 EV brands and an unprecedented lineup of new car launches.

The show, at Sydney Olympic Park from Friday to Sunday, March 7 through to March 9, promises to be the biggest yet, and will include several new attractions such as live EV reviews by the Fully Charged YouTube channel hosts.

“Australia has rapidly emerged as a key market for global EV manufacturers, with Everything Electric Sydney now firmly established as the premier launch platform,” said Dan Caesar, the global CEO of Everything Electric.

“The unprecedented number of first-time reveals at this year’s show demonstrates both Australia’s acceleration toward an electric future and manufacturers’ confidence in our expo as the ideal stage to showcase their innovations,” he said.

New vehicle launches and dozens of new EV models

If you are in the market for a new EV, then Everything Electric is the perfect place to experience some of Australia’s newest EV models in person, including the Deepal S05 and E07, Farizon SV, Leapmotor C10 and Skywell EVA5. XPeng will also show off their Mona M03 which is expected here in the future.

Volkswagen Group Australia will be showcasing 14 of its recently arrived or soon to arrive vehicles like the ID.Buzz Pro in short and long wheelbase form, ID.Buzz Cargo, ID.4 Pro and ID.5 GTX. Next to them will be the Skoda Elroq and Cupra Tavascan SUVs as well as the Audi S6 e-tron and Q4 e-tron.

For Tesla fans the refreshed Model Y will be on display as well as available for test drives with the Model 3. Tesla will also have a Cybertruck on display and it will be open for people to hop inside, which was not the case when the Cybertruck first toured the country in 2024.

Geely owned Zeekr will officially debut the 7X SUV and unique Zeekr Mix van at Everything Electric. Both of these vehicles feature Zeekr’s impressive Golden Battery LFP technology, currently the fastest charging batteries of any available EVs with 10-80% charging in just 10.5 minutes.

Alongside the Zeekr 7X and Mix, Zeekr will also be showing their compact X SUV, 009 luxury van as well as the Zeekr 001 FR and Zeekr 007. Judging by how busy the Zeekr stand at the Sydney International EV Autoshow was in November 2024, it will be popular again with even more vehicles on display.

There will also be a number of manufacturers of vehicle-to-load equipment that are expected to become a major focus of EV consumers in the coming year.

Thousands of test drives

Some 7,500 test drives will be available over three days in many of the new EV models mentioned above, as well as existing vehicles across manufacturer lineups. In total more than 120 vehicles will be available for test drives across 41 different models.

In previous years the test drive slots booked out quickly, so if you are keen for a test drive it is best to turn up early and head straight to the test drive section to book your spot.

Electric mobility of all shapes and sizes

Everything Electric is about all forms of electric mobility, with commercial trucks, vans and an electric bus from Transport NSW also featuring at the show. Janus Electric will be performing a live battery swap demonstration each day as well as offering test drives of their JTC23 truck, provided you have the correct truck license.

Two-wheeler and other micro-mobility vehicles will also be there including motorbikes, scooters, e-bikes and e-skateboards as well as the opportunity to test ride them. A new segment of EVs making an appearance at the Marine Zone this year are electric boats and watercraft from brands such as Candela and Eclass.

Guest speakers and fireside chats

More than 40 panel discussions will take place over three days, led by industry experts and various members of the Fully Charged crew. To plan which talks you want to attend, see the theatre programme on the Everything Electric website.

The Hon Chris Bowen, Minister for Climate Change and Energy will be making an appearance again this year, to be interviewed in a fireside chat on “Elections and Electrons” by the Everything Electric CEO, Dan Caesar. This chat is currently scheduled for 12:00pm on Friday March 7th, but could change according to the minister’s busy schedule.

Home energy and electrification advice

With electricity prices continuing to climb, the 2025 show will also feature an extensive range of exhibitors in the home energy space. Attendees can also receive free, one-on-one consultations with home energy experts, providing guidance on solar panels, insulation, smart meters, battery storage, and other strategies for lowering energy costs for every household.

Full details of the event including a show programme can be found on the Everything Electric show website. If you haven’t got tickets to the show yet, use the code DRIVEN to get 20% off when placing your order.

For those who can’t make the show in Sydney this weekend, Everything Electric also returns for a second Australian show later this year in Melbourne, held at the Melbourne Showgrounds from Friday November 14, to Sunday November 16, 2025.
